Positive thoughts and positive results

In this world there are many ways prescribed to get rid of our karmas. By offering service wholeheartedly to our Guru or mahatma there is no karma that cannot be absolved.  Guru seva is the only way that can give immediate results without having to spend any money. whoever understands this fact will be free from Karma.Any small service performed to Guru will destroy all our karma. Whoever understands this will perform Guru seva and progress in their lives or they will destroy themselves even though sitting under the shade of Kalpa Vruksha ( wish-fulfilling tree). Sri Vittal Babaji often used to narrate the following story in this context. One traveler is going by walk to a different town in hot summer. He did not come across any tree on his way. After sometime he started searching in all the four directions in order to get some rest. He saw only one dry tree. There is a small shade under that tree and it looked like a stick. He is too tired. He thought to himself that with this small shade i'm feeling better. It would have been nice if there are some leaves on this tree. Immediately leaves sprouted on that tree. He again thought that this shade is soothing and I'm comfortable now. However, I feel so hungry. I wish i can get a delicious and sumptuous meal now. In the blink of any eye, a delicious, sumptuous meal with many varieties of eatables appeared in front of him. He ate that food as he is really hungry. Now he started feeling sleepy. He again thought to himself I wish there is a comfortable bed here in this moment. Immediately a comfortable bed and a mattress appeared in front of him. He got onto the bed, slept comfortably and started thinking to himself like this: when i wished for shade leaves sprouted on this tree, a delicious meal appeared when I wished for a meal, and when i wished for a bed that too appeared. What if there is a demon or ghost. He was so scared and thought to himself what if that demon devours me? He was scared to death when he saw a demon for real according to his wish. He did not know that he was sitting under the shade of a kalpa vruksha (wish-fulfilling tree) and it can grant any wish he wants. Had he known that he would have wished for great wishes and would have been benefited with great wealth and  prosperity. Vittal Babaji always narrated this story for example. In SriGuru Charitra siddhudu says to Namadharaka that Guru and mahatmas are greater and exalted than Kalpa Vruksha and Kamadhenu (wish-fulfilling Cow). So one should wish for good desires and according to one's capacity and authority they can get benefits and results.
