The one who seeking the spiritual path should always watch the quality of his speech...vaaku..It is also good for them not to involve in unnecessary talks.As lots of energy and power gets reduced when the quality of our talks is foolish. Answering to the point and talking only when necessary will improve our Vak Shakthi.
The Vak shakthi ( Power of words we utter) will not be wasted if one is always spending his free time in reading good books(divine books).When we start any conversation with others in person or over phone, it is always better to start taking the name of the Almighty.With this, the topic never gets deviated and we do not involve our self in unnecessary discussions.
The words we utter should always make others happy.Sometimes the truth we speak may hurt the other person, it is always better to say in a polite manner and choose a way with which he is not upset.This will turn out to be austerity of speech ( vachika tapasu) for all of us.The austerity of speech develops more in us if we hide the bitter truth with which the other person is hurt badly. Also, if we forget and forgive instead of continuously thinking about it the power to control mind (samyamana sakthi) also increases.
Once a sculptor shows three similar dolls to a king and asks him to tell the difference between them.Neither the king nor his courteous could find any difference in them and they say all the three are similar. But, the sculptor says there is definitely a slight difference in them and a wise person can only make out the difference. The king than announces in his kingdom that, he will give his daughter's hand in marriage for the one who finds out the difference between the dolls.
The king's minister 's son gets up and requests the king for a thin iron wire.He then pierces the wire in of the dolls ear and wire wire could easily came out from the other ear. For the second doll it came out from its mouth and for the last doll when the wire was pierced in one of the ear it went into its abdomen and did not come out from any where.
The the minister's son narrates: the one who listen to everyone and does not tell in out and hides to himself is a noble man, the one who hears from one ear and leaves it from the other, is a moderate man who stays calm, the one who blabbers what ever they listen to others is a foolish man. The sculptor very extraordinarily sculpted this truth in his dolls.The king gave away his daughter in marriage to the minister's son.The person with this kind of wisdom will be liked by God.This comes under vaachika tapasu (austerity of speech)
We can relate the above said story to unnecessary talks and discussions . But, good words heard from Sadhguru Guru must be repeatedly shared with everyone as no power is getting in vain due to Sadhguru samrana and our Knowledge increases and this also comes under vaachika tapasu.

All beings in this world are related to God.But, many beings like birds, insects, animals do not realize this and they just follow the law of nature made for them. Out of 84,00,000 creatures only man has the mind to realize and knows the secret that, God created all these including him and also He is the protector of all.Man's heart and mind are blossomed in order to understand this truth.Even though he is gifted with this kind of intelligence man thinks only in terms of law of nature and about science.
Out of 1000, only one can realize that God is the one behind all these and has a strong zeal to know about God.The one's who try to know about God, experience God's true nature and true form and stay in bliss.They are called Sages.
Lord Sree Krishna states in Geeta that there is no difference between Him and the sages.This shows the Almighty's is all pervading, all sustaining, all evolving which the sage is thoroughly enjoying and experiencing.
Out of 10,000,000 only one sage is born.God is dwelling in our heart and we can reach Him easily..Is it so hard to realize this truth ?This is what we think, but, fail to realize that the same God is dwelling in each and every ones heart and truly do not believe this truth
Knowing this mere fact is the true sadana (practice).It is not so easy, to see no difference between so many forms of God and treating all as one.In order to achieve this one must always listen to Sadhuguru's preaches.Not just listening, but, one should have immense faith devotion and dedication, good conduct, truthfulness. All these qualities must be developed first so that we face no obstacles in our spiritual path.
In stead of realizing what ever fruits we are bearing today i.e, happiness or sorrow are results of our past karma , we try to find faults in others and blame others for our sorrows.Due, to this act we are adding more sins to our life.
In a positive way, it will be better if we think, God is the ruler of all of us. As the ruler, He has arranged The cycle of happiness and sorrow so that we face them one after the other in our life, as a result get realized from bad karma and attain fulfillment.And the one who has immense belief in this and bares all the fruits trusting God, will be liked by God the most.
Baktha Tukaram, Sati Sakubai, Damojipanth, Baktha Rama Das, Ekanatha Maharaj, Mata Bagawathi Devi, Pandita Sree Rama Sharma Acharya, Sri Mata Sadhguru krishna Priya, Sri Sai Bakthudu Mahalsapathi, Madava Rao Deshpande, Poolamma garu..and more have attained liberation and immense grace staying in samsara (house hold life).
What did they do after receiving immense grace?
They started seeing God in all human beings and helped everyone who came to them. They assumed others difficulties as theirs, reduced their severe stress through good words and developed devotion and faith towards God in them.They always preached how to achieve God's grace.This had been happening since the time creation started.
Let us all try and gain God's grace and spread happiness to everyone. As Human birth is precious and not sure if we are given again!
Love is eternal, as it the form of God. We cannot define and described God, similarly we can not describe Love.Love is a very sweet experience which can be only felt, but,, can not be explained in words. There is a great impact of love in life.
Here love does not mean having love for property, money, relations and friends. This love is Deep inside the core of heart, the radiance of it can occupy and spread the entire world equally and unconditionally with no boundaries.This is the kind of love we as humans should own . God resides in them, those who owns this kind of love in their Hearts.This love is selfless and unconditional.It is highly impossible to describe this Love.
Due to God's great love on us, He manifested Himself as the pancha Boothas ( five elements). Is the Sun asking us pay for the light and heat He is producing daily? What is the Moon expecting from us and giving us its moonlight?Why are clouds showering for us? What is Mother Earth expecting from us in return of the crop that she grows for us?Can we live, if Air asks us to pay something for the air we breathe ?
All the above said are few proofs of GOD's great Love for all of us.
God's love can be seen in the mother which breast feeds its child as soon as she delivers the baby.We are able to see the great flow of love from God and enjoying it.God is present invisibly, in each and everyone of us in the form of love.Unfortunately, man is not able to realize and degrading himself by increasing envy, jealousy, and being very selfish.He has no end for his desires, not realizing he is not permanent here.He forget the main purpose of his life.
Increase selfless and unconditional love within our self by putting an end to thoughts, like : I need all , I want all, All are mine...If these kind of thoughts are erased our love towards everyone and everything becomes selfless.Then it becomes divine love.
Many great sages followed this path and have become immortal.Let us all try to spread unconditional selfless love not expecting anything from anyone in return.
We must not waste food, as food is God itself..It is said that, the life span of a person will be decreased if he wastes food..What is Parabrahma tatwa?
Our great Rishis after doing penance found and realized that Parabrahma is in the food we consume.There was only a big black hole before the creation was started and AUM was heard for the black hole.

M - makara
Trimoorthies - Brahma, Vishnu , Maheeshwara resembles them respectively from which tri- gunas have formed. Later all the 5 elements space, air, light(fire), water, earth were formed .In order to recognize these supreme mind, supreme intelligence , supreme pride were formed. Using these 8 elements and tri-gunas power, Brahma started creation.
Due to the gravitational force on Earth, Hunger has become common to all creatures created by Brahma.So, different kinds of fruits, vegetables, grains and beets were made available to all creatures to survive and Maha Vishnu used His massive power to create them.
Food we consume is formed by the union all the 5 elements called pancha bhoothalu . Once the seeds are sown they sprout and give us plenty of grains without expecting anything in return, And we use our mind to cook by using water and fire and consume.It is our basic responsibility to offer this food to God and then consume.
If there is no food, there is no energy to our body.The food that we consume breaks down into different forms and and is sent to different parts of body.This body is gifted with a ability to give birth to a new life.All creatures are created by Parabrahma and the food with which they survive is also created by Parabrahma. That is the reason our great Rishis realized and obeyed that, Food is God..Annam Parabrahma Swaroopam.
Many of us unknowingly leave the food served for us or serve food carelessly in the plate or while eating food we spill it from the edges of plate.
We do not realize that each person is assigned how amount of food he has to consume in that life...so, if we waste food..the food in our account decreases and so our life span also decreases.
Not only this, whenever we consume food..consume with love, devotion, satisfaction, mercy, faith and this will give strength to your body.

Man is the only living being who has Mind power...Its thinking and behavior is very different and unique and unpredictable.Due to its unpredictable behavior, man sees the extremes in his life...either makes him wise or degrades him to the maximum...
The most strange thing about this is, it makes us think, what we are doing and thinking is absolutely right and it always keep judging the other persons behavior...whether they are good or bad. For normal human beings it is quote natural to think what ever path they have chosen is right and never realize they are fault...But for those in spiritual path, they observe in which direction their mind is going..and they should try to divert it in such a way that it thinks of only good...This the first and important quality they should try to develop.
The one's seeking spiritual path should not come under the control of their manasu..(mind).They should use their Brain power(budhi shakthi) to control the thoughts the mind makes and control it and keep it in our control and see to it that it does not choose wrong direction..Ofcourse, this is not an easy task at all! It takes tremendous effort for the manasu to be in our control..as it is too fickle. But with sincere effort and dedication we can make it possible.
The main aim of a person seeking spiritual path will always be - wining over the thoughts the mind does and control it ..We should realize how it(manasu) works...its nature is not to be stable and not to stick to one particular point.If it is thinking foolishly we should try and divert to it to think wisely..
What is foolish thinking?
Thinking of past and dreaming of future! We must make mind realize both are not in our hands .
We should train it :We must not to take pride if we helped someone in need and not to think of revenge if some one harms us.There is no use of thinking these two.It is always good to be thankful to and never forget the ones who helped us when needed.It is always good to chant God's name, listen to His stories or saints chartiras..so that, manasu(mind) is always in this kind of good thoughts and we get peace!
Slowly our manasu starts listening to us.Once we obtain the mind which is in our control, we see a lot of change in our meditation or Dhayna as well.
What you mediate on frequently, the same form you will receive in return.
Dhayna or meditation will take place in mind and your behavior
reflects your state of mind..
A man with a bad mind -manasu is a bad man, as he is thinking bad. Manasu(mind) plays an important role in shaping human life. Mind is the only reason whether we choose good or bad..
It is said
" mana eva manushyanam karanam bandha-mokshayo'
Which means man must elevate by his own mind..
Once we control our mind we get peace in life and can easily be detached from wordily things. Mind becomes stable and Atma sakshatkara is possible if once our mind is in our control.So, if we are able to control our monkey mind human life becomes righteous and Man becomes a supreme soul..Let us try this and experience the joy of a stable mind and stay in bliss!
According to our sanatana dharma i.e, Hinduism, our present birth life style depends on our previous birth's merits and demerits.This is also mentioned in holy scripts. The results of the merits and demerits we have done in our various previous births is carried from each birth, and we have to go through various results.Our way of living in this birth depends upon the kind of deeds we did in our previous births..Man's birth and lifestyle is connected to a wheel of his merits and demerits. This is called Wheel Of Karma - Vidhi - Destiny. Vidhi is nothing but way of life.
The reason for us to call it a Wheel is because wheel represents a circle. It has no corners. You move round and round and reach the same point you started.Life represents a wheel,Cycle of birth and death. Birth and death keeps on taking place.Whoever dies has to take birth and one who takes birth has to die some day.This cycle of birth and death keeps repeating.Meaning of death is, the soul leaves this present body and enters a new body.The reason for birth is karma-fate-destiny.So, according to our deeds our destiny is decided in the next birth.
We should know one thing here very clearly that, all the happiness or sorrow we are facing in this birth is due to our previous birth deeds.So, facing them can not be avoided. Face them with courage and participate in social service, do namasamarana, bhajans and be good all. These good deeds will be carried with your soul for your upcoming births.This is the treasure you take with you from this birth to next birth.Do not forget this.
Do not say there is not time for all these or in spite of offering prayers we are not benefited or offering prayers is against our custom.If you come to know from your fellow beings that, they had been benefited immensely with the parayana of SREE GURU CHARITRA do not feel disappointed thinking, they did it just once and are blessed and in spite of me doing it a number of times I did not get the desired results.In stead think that, slowly all your bad karma is being erased by doing the parayana of the divine book and, make a sankalpa that, I will not stop the parayana until I get the desired result and increase namasamarna.
Do not think my bad karma is dominating the parayana I did and I can never succeed.We can change our destiny with the good deeds we do.All the deeds you do will be carried by you..do only good deeds..these deeds will help you and give good results in your upcoming births.Some good deeds give you good results in this birth and some you may receive in the next birth.They will never become useless.
Many say and think, in spite of being good always, bad happens to us and nothing helped us in our bad time and there is a chance for others to get deviated form doing good listening to such kind of people.Remember one thing that, because of them, thinking and saying in this way, they were not benefited by their own good deeds.
Many times we express a doubt within our self whether God /Guru is listening to us?Are they aware of our problems? And, the answer to this is a big YES!! Definitely Guru/God is listening to what ever we speak to Him.Each one of us develop a bonding with our favorite Guru/God in our life. He waits for the correct time to answer us, as, he knows the best - what to give us and how to give us.We should have that trust and patience to wait.He will not come to us directly, He will help us, give us our required answer in some or the other form.All this depends on our level of understanding and the way we see situations.
Many of them have emailed me saying, when they were browsing for some spiritual related questions on net Swami's f/b page popped up and many of my posts have been a great relief to them.How did this happen? Swami directed you in that way...In order to get relief and gain confidence within yourself, Swami answered you through my posts..that is how He answered you.... as I always say, it is He who is making me do all this and I am not doing anything on my own...
Whenever we are in great trouble, in the right time we receive timely help from someone or the other..How is this possible? Guru's grace..He sent them to help us...One must have immense faith and devotion towards GURU to understand this.Everyone of us feel, we have immense love for our GURU and say we trust Him a lot when our mind is stable and when we are peaceful....when we actually face any trouble we become restless and always try to help ourselves or depend on others for moral support and do not realize at that time GURU is there with me, He will take care of everything...But, this is the time when we must actually wait with Patience for Him to answer and we must trust Him...this is possible only with great practice...
I would like to narrate an example here:
Couple of weeks ago, we organized Satyanarayana Swami pooja at home and 30-40 people were invited...Unfortunately, I could not get help from anyone and it was becoming hard for me to manage everything with 2 small kids...I was completely panic and confused! Where to start from and how to proceed!! CLUELESS!! I am organizing the pooja at home and still not ready with many things! Why did I feel so tensed at that time? It is clear that, my faith towards my GURU shattered at that time...If I had that complete trust in Him ,for sure, I would have been at peace and relaxed thinking that my GURU is with me and He will definitely arrange for some help.Including me all of us should develop immense faith and trust in our GURU...
The priest who came to perform the pooja was so humble and kind that, for about 45 min he took care of everything that had to be done and arranged for the pooja...Luckily, few of them came a bit early and started helping me.As it rained that day, many of them were late.Now, I felt all things are getting right and better. Slowly, situation changed in my favor giving me great relief! And, all this is because of my Guru....He took care of everything.But, I realized this truth only after completion of the event.I felt, in stead of taking that must tension why did not I trust my GURU and stay calm for a while...why did I panic so much! It would have been so nice and beautiful, if, I was calm and just praying to my GURU at that time.
So, it is very clear from this that GURU is there with me and He was watching all the tension I was going through! Though it took time for things to settle, everything happened perfectly in the last,l by His grace. What I want to say from this small incident is that, in any kind of tough situation we must not panic, but, instead surrender to GURU with faith and patience.And, He is surely listening to us. There is no need to have a second thought!
Whenever we come across this kind of situations in life, we must realize where and how to improve our self to increase bonding and faith in our GURU..and make our mind strong that, we will never repeat this again.
Often, we get disturbed due to several things going around us and get deviated from listening to Divine books or doing parayana. And many of them have expressed this concern to me that, they are not able to continue their parayana due to their personal issues. Sometimes, weeks together they are not able to listen/read divine books. Sometimes, due to several reasons even I can not give sufficient time listening to divine books...But, definitely, I will take out, half an hour or 10 mins or at least 2 mins to listen to divine books or listen to GURU ji's speeches and Pray to GURU that, "Swami, today I was very much engaged with so many things and I am not able to concentrate and stay focused please help me, give me strength to overcome and help me to stay focused".
How much ever busy and hectic day I may have, I make it a point to listen for at least few seconds.Slowly, I increase the time period and fall back into track..but never stop listening however bad day I may face.If you start like this, definitely, He will make you stay focused more and more.We must have that strong sankalpa within us that, what ever it may be, I will not miss listening/reading divine books or offering prayer. We all must have a zeal of increasing bounding with our Guru..and stick to this..
Sometimes even I face many obstacles and deviations while offering my prayers and it takes full day for me to listen to a 20 min parayana chapter..on and on I pause the recorded chapter, complete my materialistic works and I say sorry to my Guru, as I am not able concentrate due to several kinds of disturbances.Then, I think to myself, today, full day I was getting disturbed due to so many things. So, I will listen to this chapter again completely with calm mind at least before going to bed or while cooking or when kids are asleep...But, this time I am completely focused, because, since morning I was deviated and now I will not allow any kinds of thoughts in my mind, but, focus what Swami is saying.....It is quite natural that some days we face these kind of challenges as all days are not smooth..though they are not smooth and challenging day for us...we should stick to the rule that, whatever it may be, I will divert my self towards Him...If we have this kind of strong zeal and love for Guru,definitely, Swami will show us a way..

Sometimes, how much ever good we may be or try to get close to few family members/friends/relatives, it is never possible.Some or the other misunderstanding crops up! I personally feel, it is just because of our past karma..In our previous births we do not know what kind of strained relationship we maintained, due to which ,in spite of sincere efforts we can not be in good terms.The only thing that we have to do at this point is leave to our Guru and pray to Him that, it is becoming impossible for me adjust with them.It may be my fault in understanding the other person..somehow things are not getting better...rather to make them worse it is better to stay away..I feel in stead of looking into other person faults, I agree, I may be at fault, so, I am not able to cope up in this relation..We sometimes face these kind of strained relationships even with our blood related ones.
In spite of controlling our self and trying to get along, we can not make it possible. So, I feel it is waste of time and we are loosing peace.So, I feel, definitely, karma plays an important role here...that relation is not meant to be ours! Some kind of friction has developed within us due to strained relation in previous births.
So, just ask Swami for forgiveness and ask Him to change us if we are at fault..and if we are not going in the right way correct us and make us realize our mistake.
I want to share my experiences here:
Since few days my helper was not coming regularly and it was becoming hard for me with kids. I did not loose confidence this time because of the Satyanarayana Swmai pooja day incident. I just looked at Babaji's picture and spoke to Him and told Him, "Please take care of Us!'
Just within no time I received timely help!!Guru loves everyone equally, all of you also experience these kind of leelas in your life, but, fail to realize and the only thing is we must develop immense love and trust In Him!
When I was expecting my second child, some days, it was not possible for me to pack lunch for my elder one for school.I had a guilt feeling, but I was in a helpless situation. I was worried what would she eat ?Looking at BABA'S picture I used to ask Him," BABA what will she eat! She is so picky ? But, she always came home happily saying it was her favorite dish for lunch at school ad she enjoyed her meal !!!
These may seem too small incidents, but, it is not small for the person who is undergoing these kind of helpless situations! We will realize and understand that our GURU is taking care of the minutest thing in our life!
How far are we able to understand and realize His love and Grace?The more we focus on Guru with faith, the more the bonding between us increases. Sometimes faith may shatter, but we can bounce back with the kind of love He showers upon us! And we will understand that the bound between me and my GURU is not so weak!!
Let us all focus on the minutest thing that He has gifted us with!He is protecting us like the eyelid which protects the eyes.If we realize this truth we will understand how much He is helping us in day to day life and He is becoming our strength.If we are able to understand this truth confidence within us increases. Our faith will never ever shatter...and we will grow strong and positive day by day...
